Neighborhood Foster Care Program

The Neighborhood Foster Care Program enables children to remain in their communities through the provision of wrap-around services designed to bring permanency to their lives. It is the belief of the Fairfax/Woodland Hills Collaborative that if a child is removed from their home, he/she should be placed in a familiar, culturally sensitive environment to minimize trauma and loss. Neighborhood Foster Care keeps children in close proximity to their families, friends, schools, and communities.
