In this way, the African Revolution will be seen alive and at work in the
lives of our people.

To be free is to be Independent.
People:
To be independent is to be free.

We must begin to control the Institutions that effect our lives.
People:
We must seize the time.
Leader:
Be as proud of your race today as our fathers were in the day before us.
People:
We have a beautiful history.
Leader:
And we shall create another in the future that will astonish the world.

Let us commemorate the African Warriors and Queens of our past and present
